Use: It shows an intensive citrus-like odor but seems to be less sweet and fruity than Citral. The quality of this Aroma Chemical is very good and comparable to Citronella oil.
Flavor: Pungent, fresh, green, citrus, slightly woody
Due to the rather unstable character of this aldehyde and intensity it is generally only used in traces for citrus flavors.
