Use: Adam Michael has this to say “The aroma is herbal, rich, floral, powdery, a little sweet and to my nose has a pleasing aquatic/ocean note. This essential oil has a very tranquil, calming and relaxing effect upon me, maybe even a sedative quality as I am getting sleepy smelling this material from the bottle after only a few minutes. Diluted in carrier oil St John’s Wort can be a valuable healing and anti-inflammatory remedy. Added to plain lotion my reading material suggests it can speed the healing of wounds, bruises, varicose veins and mild burns. Especially useful for the healing of sunburn. Obtained by steam distillation of the flowers, pale yellow in colour and of a pourable viscosity.”
