Use: Extrapone® Guarana contains the extract of Paullinia cupana H.B.K. seeds prepared in water and propylenglycol. Guarana used for Extrapone® Guarana is mainly cultivated in the Amazon. After harvesting the ripe guarana seeds the fruit shells are removed and the remaining pure seeds are roasted and ground to a paste. This paste is extracted by an ethanol-water-blend. The extract is carefully concentrated by distillation to a ethanol content of 40 Vol.%. The concentrated extract is prepared in a mixture of water, propylene glycol and preservatives and clear filtrated after an individual ripening time. 1 kg Extrapone® Guarana contains the ingredients solved by water and ethanol of approx. 25 g dried, resp. approx. 190 g fresh seeds. Dried plant material - Extrapone® Guarana - ratio: 0.025 : 1. Fresh plant material - Extrapone® Guarana - ratio: 0.190 : 1
