Sage CO2 (SELECT)
Odor: characteristic
Use: Also known as Common Sage and Dalmation Sage, Salvia officinalis is a member of the mint family and its extracts are powerful top note materials for fougeres, chypres, herbal perfume bases, colognes and men’s fragrances anywhere that you would use rosemary or thyme. This CO2 extract is certainly no exception with a strongly fresh thujonic, rosemary and eucalyptus aspects perfectly balanced with a slight woodiness. Overall, this CO2 is warmer and less intense than the steam distilled essential oil which makes it useful in situations where you desire the initial herbal blast but don’t want it to linger into the heart note.
