Violet leaves Absolute Egypt
Odor: herbaceous, green, floral
Use: The violet, a shy little plant, has dark-green foliage forming a rosette and hiding the fragile buds of future flowers. They open discreetly, revealing a lovely purple color. Violet flower extract was once a popular product in perfumery. However, given the low yields, synthetic materials such as ionone gradually came to be preferred. On the other hand, the absolute extracted from violet leaves was found to have a genuine perfume-making value as natural green note. Violet leaf is harvested from December to May and delivered the same day to production units for extraction, resulting in violet leaf absolute, with an herbaceous, green, floral fragrance.

Violet Leaf Absolute
Odor: characteristic
Use: Adam Michael has this to say about Violet Leaf Absolute “The aroma of violet leaf absolute is heady, leafy-green, earthy, with woody and candy violet sweet nuances. Very unique and exceptionally tenacious material. Violet leaf is a middle note and blends beautifully with floral and herbaceous absolutes such as cassie, mimosa, osmanthus, blue lotus, narcissus, green and black teas, magnolias, tuberose and clary sage. Adds volume and diffusiveness to heart notes and provides an interesting twist to rose accords.

Use: Violet is an herbaceous plant growing naturally and used for its leaves, flowers and roots. Both Greeks and Romans drank a wine made from violets. The flowers picked during springtime are dedicated either to floral decoration or to confectionary: they compose the famous crystallised flower sweets from Toulouse. The leaves and stems are collected for their extracts used in perfumery.

Odor: characteristic
Use: Violet Leaf Absolute has a floral, fresh, sweet, perfume-like aroma. It blends well with Frangipani, Jasmine, Orange Blossom, Osmanthus, Lotus, and Rose. Violet Leaf Absolute is great for our natural perfumers and soapers who want an extra floral depth to their floral, perfume-like blends. It's worth noting that this material is semi-mobile and very dark green in color, therefore, may require care before blending.
