Odor: characteristic
Use: Orange, Sweet: Citrus sinensis var. dulcis, cold pressed peel, U.S.A.. Sweet Orange essential oil has a sweet citrus fragrance and is orange in color. It is antidepressant and calming, refreshes the air and dissipates cooking odors. It is also a good grease cutter and is very useful in removing gooey residues, such as price labels from glass products and glass picture frames (without the picture inside the frame!). Always test a small area as its color may discolor certain finishes.

Use: Discovered 4000 years ago in China, orange was a rare fruit; at the time of Louis XIV it was a symbol of wealth and was considered as a precious Christmas gift until the 20th century. Oranges are the most consumed fruits in the world, together with apples, because their production is constant all year long. They are certainly one of the fruits having the highest vitamin content.

The Perfumery
Orange Oil, Certified Organic
Odor: characteristic
Use: 100% Certified Organic Sweet Orange oil has a wonderfully sweet, citrus, characteristic aroma. Many aromatherapists say Sweet Orange oil is one of the most uplifting oils. It's certainly a staple for any blenders seeking organic Orange.
The Perfumery
Orange Oil, Dark Belize
Odor: characteristic
Use: The native Orange trees growing in the rich soils of Belize provide a darker Orange oil. The aldehyde content is higher than our Sweet Orange oil, giving unique candy-like nuances that add some complexity to an already wonderful aroma. Its aroma is also attributed to the high content of oxygenated compounds in this oil, as a result of extraction from darker fully ripe fruits.
The Perfumery
Orange Oil, Portugal WS
Odor: characteristic
Use: Our Water Soluble Orange has a characteristic aroma, similar to its essential oil. Our unique surfactant makes an excellent water soluble product for those creative projects requiring a water base. It's worth noting that some settling may occur; we recommend shaking vigorously before use. Please note that this is a water soluble product that has been blended with a surfactant.
The Perfumery
Orange oil, Sweet, (High Aldehyde), Portugal
Odor: characteristic
Use: The sweet, citrus, characteristic aroma of Sweet Orange oil is a staple in the aroma world. This particular oil has a higher aldehyde content than the typical USA Orange oil. Customers who buy this also bought Clementine, Tangerine, and Blood Orange oils to add more depth to their blends.
The Perfumery
Orange oil, Wild, Belize
Odor: characteristic
Use: The wonderfully citrus, sweet, fruity aroma of Wild Orange oil is an appealing addition to perfume and other fragrance blends. Wild Orange oil can be used in many of the same ways as Sweet Orange oil. Many of our aromatherapists say Wild Orange oil is good for aiding the release of stress and anxiety.
The Perfumery
Orange oil, Wild, Dominican Republic

Use: The citrus, sweet, fruity aroma of Wild Orange oil is a great addition to many blends. Wild Orange oil can be used in many of the same ways as Sweet Orange oil. Many of our aromatherapists say Wild Orange oil is good for aiding the release of stress and anxiety.

Notes:
The tree seems to have originated in the Far East in the area between the Himalayas and southwestern China. It came to Europe in the early part of the l6th century and soon afterwards was brought to the Americas by the Spanish and Portuguese explorers. Seedlings of the tree were landed in West Africa by Portuguese, seafarers long before it was brought to Europe. Thus the Guinea trees are the descendants of the first shipment of orange trees outside Asia. Cinnamaldehyde adds natural sharpness and sweetness. Blends well with aldehydic bases. tsca definition 2008: extractives and their physically modified derivatives. citrus aurantium, dulces, citrus. used in pharmaceuticals for fragrance and flavor.
