Use: Extrapone® Hibiscus contains the extract of Hibiscus sabdariffa L. flowers prepared in water and propylene glycol. Hibiscus used for our Extrapone® is mainly cultivated in Africa. The flowers are dried, if necessary comminuted, extracted with water and filtrated. The filtrate is concentrated by distillation. The concentrated extract is prepared in a mixture of water, propylene glycol and preservatives and clear filtrated after an individual ripening time. 1 kg Extrapone® Hibiscus contains the hydrophilic ingredients of approx. 50 g dried, resp. approx. 380 g fresh hibiscus flowers. Dried plant material – Extrapone® Hibiscus – ratio: 0.05 : 1 Fresh plant material – Extrapone® Hibiscus - ratio: 0.38 : 1
