Peanut-derived triglyceride, that has been Super Refined™ to remove impurities. Purified to yield a water-white, odourless, neutral non-polar lipid with a low peroxide value. Used as an excipient in pharmaceutical formulations, as a solvent for sustained-release intramuscular injections and as a vehicle for topical preparations, nasal drug delivery systems and controlled-release injectables. In addition, it can be used in emulsions that are used in nutrition applications. Also available as a grade that contains no preservatives. Recommended topical usage levels of 0.5-5%.

Use: Peanut Oil produces a very soft soap in soap making projects. As it cures, it will harden over time. This oil is often compared to Extra Virgin Olive Oil or Castor Oil in it's properties and usage. Peanut Oil is also a great Soap Making Carrier Oil to use for those who may have dry skin. Peanut Oil is non-drying and it conditions very well. Peanut oil has high levels of vitamin E which protects the skin from damaging free radicals, aids in the removal of wrinkles, and helps regenerate damaged cells. It may also be used in general skin care for moisturizing and nourishing the skin.

Use: Peanut oil, an all-purpose oil derived from peanuts, is pale gold and subtly flavored with the richness of peanuts. It can be heated to high temperatures without smoking, which makes it suitable for deep-frying and sautéing. Clear oil pressed from peanuts; very useful in Chinese cooking. Peanut oil has a delicate flavor and high smoke point, making it perfect for deep-frying. American peanut oils tend to be mild-flavored, whereas Chinese peanut oils have a distinctive peanut flavor. Peanut oil will keep indefinitely if stored in a cool, dark place.

Use: Linolenic Acid appears to be entirely absent. Traces of eicosenoic acid have been found. The unsaponifiable portion of Peanut Oil includes tocopherols and other anti-oxidents, sterols, squalene, and other hydrocarbons. Total tocopherol content ranges from 0.022 to 0.059 percent. Squalene content is about 0.027 percent.
