G-66 Guerbet Ester
Odor: charateristic
Use: G-66 provides emolliency and refatting properties when used in skin care systems. It is recommended for use in products including lotions, creams and body oils. It is ideal for use as an additive in anhydrous systems, such as sunscreen oils, where it confers a smooth, dry feel to the skin. G-66 is ideal for use as a pigment dispersant. It can be used in the formulation of color cosmetics, including lipsticks, foundations, pressed powders and eye shadows. Because of its substantivity to skin, it is an excellent additive for long-wear cosmetic products. G-66 may be used to improve the application properties of cosmetics, lipsticks and lip glosses and to increase shine in these products. G-66 provides excellent skin feel when used as an ingredient in suncare formulations, including oils, lotions, sprays and after-sun products. It helps to disperse zinc oxide and titanium dioxide in these formulations, and can improve product efficacy. In hair care applications, G-66 may be used to improve wet combability and leave hair with a soft, lustrous and healthy appearance.
