Use: Galactasol carboxymethyl hydroxypropyl guar (CMHPG) is an anionic guar derivative used as a gelling agent for oil and gas hydraulic fracturing fluids to suspend proppant. Galactasol CMHPG is easily soluble in cold temperature environments. Furthermore, Galactasol CMHPG polymers exhibit a good thermal stability and can be cross-linked with a number of crosslinkers.
