4,4'-Bis-(2-sulfostyryl)-biphenyl disodium salt (BSBDS)
Odor: characteristic
Use: 4,4'-Bis-(2-sulfostyryl)-biphenyl disodium salt (BSBDS) is an optical brightener (fluorescent whitening agent which absorbs UV radiation and re-emits visible blue light) which gives a bright neutral white shade to cellulosic and synthetic fabrics. It is lightfast, chlorine stable, highly soluble and achieves high level of whiteness and brightness from cold to medium washing temperature, even by short washing time.

Benetex® OB-M1 Fluorescent Whitening Agent
Odor: characteristic
Use: Benetex OB-M1 is a light fast, chlorine stable, highly soluble fluorescent whitening agent. It is compatible with conventional and compact detergent powders, liquid detergents, industrial detergents as well as soap bars, softeners, and boosters. It is effective at relative low loading levels over the whole temperature range from cold to medium washing temperatures. Optical brighteners create brilliance by absorbing UV light, modifying the wavelength of the light and then emitting the light in a fluorescent fashion. Benetex® OB-M1 can also be used as a tracer in various water systems.

DISODIUM DISTYLBIPHENYL DISULFONATE
Odor: characteristic
Use: Tinopal- CBS-X is a fluorescent whitening agent which absorbs UV radiation and re-emits visible blue light, thus compensating the yellowish appearance of natural fibers. High solubility and achieves high level of whiteness and brightness from cold to medium washing temperature, even by short washing time.
