Use: Extrapone® Horse Chestnut contains the extract of Aesculus hippocastanum L. seed prepared in propylene glycol and water. Horse Chestnuts used for our Extrapone® are mainly collected in Eastern Europe. The seeds are dried, if necessary comminuted, extracted with a blend of water and ethanol, and filtrated. The filtrate is concentrated by distillation and thereby the ethanol is completely removed . The concentrated extract is prepared in a mixture of propylene glycol, water and preservatives and filtrated after an individual ripening time. Extrapone® Horse Chestnut contains a minimum amount of 2500 ppm aescine. 1 kg Extrapone® Horse Chestnut contains the ingredients solved by water and ethanol of approx. 200 g dried, resp. approx. 1500 g fresh seeds. Dried plant material - Extrapone® Horse Chestnut - ratio: 0.20:1 Fresh plant material - Extrapone® Horse Chestnut - ratio: 1.50:1
