Use: SymGlucan® is a 1% solution of Oat Beta-Glucan in water. Oat bran is aqueously extracted under mild alkaline conditions. Protein selection, ultrafiltration, double precipitation in ethanol and concentration of Oat β-Glucan. 1% Oat β-Glucan is prepared in water, stabilized with glycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol and preserved with sodium benzoate. SymGlucan® is well suited for skin care applications for stressed, dry and sensitive skin. It is clinically shown to penetrate intact human skin and help reduce the visible signs of aging.
