SUPRMIX® 900
Odor: characteristic Use: Water side print rolls require a rubber compound to hold a film of water on the surface without absorbing water. SUPRMIX® 900 provides a hydrophilic surface to improve the water film on the surface of the roller. The use of alcohols or other solvents are reduced which means compounds plasticized with SUPRMIX® 900 are safer for workers and more environmentally responisble based on lower VOC's. SUPRMIX® 900 is also effective in plasticizing copolymer emulsions used in adhesive formulating. |

SUPRMIX® CUMAR® P-10
Odor: characteristic Use: SUPRMIX® Cumar® P-10 coumarone-indene resin offers multiple benefits to the rubber compounder. In mixing and extruding, SUPRMIX® Cumar® P-10's low softening point allows it to function as plasticizer to help lower high viscosities and to produce smoother extrusions. SUPRMIX® Cumar® P-10 provides building tack and green strength to un-vulcanized rubber to allow the uncured parts to hold some rigidity and shape --- a most useful property for processing by pre-formers or for thick parts made up of multiple plies. Cumar® P-10 is a viscous liquid having a light amber color and low-unsaturation. Being an extremely "viscous liquid" and having a low softening point make Cumar® P-10 an ideal candidate for incorporation on our highly absorbent amorphous silica carrier. The wait for Cumar® P-10 to drain from a container is eliminated. Being a free flowing powder, Suprmix® Cumar® P-10 is easy to handle and weigh, quickly disperses into rubber; and there are no more thick residues left in metal drums with a HallStar Suprmix®. |

SUPRMIX® CUMAR® P-25
Odor: characteristic Use: The benefits of incorporating Cumar® P-25 on our amorphous silica carrier are self evident. Using SUPRMIX® Cumar® P-25 is a highly absorbent carrier with results of easier handling, weighing, faster mixing cycles and improved dispersion of the resin. SUPRMIX® Cumar® P-25 also leaves no thick residues in the bottoms of nearly empty drums with which to contend during drum disposal and cleaning/re-conditioning.
Changing over to the convenience of our SUPRMIX® Cumar® P-25, however, does not compromise the qualities that make Cumar® P-25 so very useful to the compounder. Suprmix® Cumar®P-25 is resistant against oxidation, moisture, dilute acids and caustics.
Green strength and building tack are retained. They contribute to easy handling by pre-forming equipment and also aid in the building of very large parts via multiple ply techniques. Plasticization during mixing and extrusion is unaffected. Durometers also are not affected. |

Thermoplastic resins of relatively low molecular weight produced by the catalytic and thermal polymerization of coumarone and indene. The coumarone content present in these resins is often less than 10%. Other resin formers present may include styrene, vinyltoluenes, methylindenes, methylcoumarones, cyclopentadiene, dicyclopentadiene and their methyl homologs. Used as a food additive [EAFUS]
