Staybelite Resin-E Partially Hydrogenated Rosin
Foreverest Resources
Colorless Fully Hydrogenated Rosin
Odor: characteristic
Use: Foreverest™ Colorless Fully Hydrogenated Rosin 400 is refined from hydrogenated rosin or high-hydrogenated rosin that are eliminated foreign matter. With the benefit of colorless, is applied as solid or liquid solder flux, and the raw material of light-colored rosin resin and hot melt adhesives. It’s the substitue for Eastman product.

Hydrogenated Rosin H106
Odor: characteristic
Use: Hydrogenated Rosin is one of the dominant varieties of modified rosin with light color, high oxidation resistance and high thermal stability. It is soluble in ketones, esters, hydrocarbons, alcohols and chlorinated solvents and insoluble in water. Conjugated unsaturation of abietic resin acids can be removed through catalytic hydrogenation to overcome the shortcomings of oxidation and color degradation in rosin, is compatible in useful proportions with alkyds, natural and synthetic rubbers, natural resins, ethylcellulose; waxes; plastic polymers, elastomeric polymers, metallic pigments, and many other raw materials.

Foral® AX
Odor: characteristic
Use: Foral® AX resin is a thermoplastic, acidic resin produced by hydrogenating wood rosin to an exceptionally high degree. It is the palest, most highly stabilized rosin commercially available. Compared with Staybelite® resin, a hydrogenated rosin long established and widely used for its pale color and high oxidation stability, Foral AX resin has better initial color and color retention, and even greater resistance to oxidation. It is especially indicated as the tackifier and resin modifier in solvent adhesives and hot melt applied coatings and adhesives that must excel in these properties. Foral AX resin is particularly suited to food contact applications.

Foral® DX
Odor: characteristic
Use: Foral® DX resin is a thermoplastic, acidic resin produced by hydrogenating rosin to an exceptionally high degree. Similar to, but less refined than, Foral AX resin, it is likewise one of the palest, most highly stabilized rosins commercially available. Foral DX resin has very light initial color, and its strong resistance to oxidation results in excellent color retention in a wide range of applications. It is used as a tackifier and resin modifier in solvent adhesives and hot melt applied coatings and adhesives that must excel in these properties. Foral DX resin has a higher softening point and glass transition temperature than Foral AX, which passes the threshold to enable packaging as free-flowing pastilles in easily handled bags.

Staybelite® A
Odor: characteristic
Use: Staybelite® A resin is gum rosin that has been partially hydrogenated via a catalytic process. It is a pale, thermoplastic, acidic resin, and has similar characteristics to Staybelite hydrogenated wood rosin. Hydrogenation makes this resin highly resistant to oxidation and discoloration, and to changes in solubility characteristics, when it is exposed to air and heat. In these respects, it is greatly superior to ordinary non-hydrogenated rosins. Esters, metallic salts, and other derivatives of Staybelite A resin inherit this stability to a large degree.
