|D-Glucopyranose, oligomeric, C10-16 alkyl glycosides
Use: D-Glucopyranose, oligomeric, C10-16 (even numbered) Alkyl Glycosides are a class of non-ionic surfactants widely used in a variety of household and industrial applications. They are derived from sugars and fatty alcohols; therefore, they are generally favoured for their manufacture from renewable resources.
The raw materials for industrial manufacture are typically starch and fat, and the final products are typically complex mixtures of compounds with different sugars comprising the hydrophilic end and alkyl groups of variable length comprising the hydrophobic end. When derived from glucose, they are known as Alkyl Polyglucosides, (APGs).

Use: SURFAPON AG 12 is a nonionic, alkyl polyglycoside surfactant derived from corn and natural oils. It readily dilutes in water, and is particularly mild. Of equal importance, when combined with more aggressive anionic surfactants, SURFAPON AG 12 lowers a formulation’s overall irritation potential. This, coupled with its excellent foam properties, makes SURFAPON AG 12 an excellent choice as a secondary surfactant in hair and body shampoos, bubble baths, and facial cleansers (including wipes).

Use: SURFAPON AG 60 is a naturally based, vegetable surfactant derived from corn and natural oils. It is an excellent choice for use in household, industrial and institutional cleansers. SURFAPON AG 60 is nonionic, but ethylene oxide free. It is highly compatible with alkaline builders (including NaOH), thus making it an ideal surfactant for hard surface cleansers containing these types of electrolytes. Furthermore, alkyl polyglycoside surfactants have been found to be non-streaking and not leave a film on hard surfaces. Therefore, SURFAPON AG 60 is ideally suited in applications such as glass, metal, and other hard surface cleaning formulations.

Use: A mild non-ionic surfactant that offers low foam and natural gentle cleansing particularly for oil skin in shampoos and body washes. Also a good co-emulsifier. ( HLB 11-12)
