Trimethylolpropane triacrylate (TMPTA)
Odor: characteristic
Use: TMPTA is an aliphatic trifunctional acrylate of low viscosity and excellent crosslinking reactivity. It is an effective reactive diluent with excellent solvency and viscosity reducing characteristics in UV/EB curable formulations based on epoxy, polyurethane and polyesters. TMPTA is widely used in coatings and varnishes. It gives very good chemical and physical properties to the system at the appropriate concentration. TMPTA enhance the performance of the coating on sensitive substrates (like plastics) and rigid irregular surfaces (like wood).
