Galanga Oleoresin is a prepared oleoresin. It is either a concrete or a resin absolute Galanga . Oleoresin is produced from the comminuted rhizomes of Alpinia Officinarum, The solvent is either petroleum ether or, in certain cases, ethyl alcohol. Ethyl alcohol produces a very dark but easily soluble extract. The resinoid varies in color and consistency according to the solvent used.
