Red beetroots used for our Actipone® are mainly cultivated in Europe. The roots are harvested, cleaned and comminuted. The juice is obtained by pressing and filtration. The filtrate is then concentrated. The concentrated juice is prepared in a mixture of water, glycerin and preservatives and clear filtrated after an individual ripening time. 1kg Actipone® Beetroot GW contains the hydrophilic ingredients of approx. 450g fresh beetroots. Fresh plant material – Actipone® Beetroot GW – ratio: 0.45 : 1. Actipone® Beetroot GW shows anti-oxidant properties (in vitro).
