Actipone® Sweet Cherry Tree Wood
Odor: characteristic
Use: Actipone® Sweet Cherry Tree Wood contains the extract of Prunus avium L. wood prepared in propylene glycol and water. Sweet Cherry trees used for our Actipone® are mainly collected in Europe. The wood is dried, if necessary comminuted, extracted with a blend of water and ethanol and filtrated. The filtrate is concentrated by distillation and thereby the ethanol is completely removed. The concentrated extract is prepared in a mixture of water, propylene glycol and preservatives and filtrated after an individual ripening time. Actipone® Sweet Cherry Tree Wood shows anti-oxidant, anti-irritant and anti-aging (increase of sirtuin SIRT1 protein expression) properties (in vitro).
