Use: Extrapone® Lotus Flower contains the extract of Nelumbo Nucifera prepared in water and butylene glycol. Lotus has been traditionally used in Ayurveda. Lotus used for our Extrapone® is cultivated and collected in India. The flowers are dried, if necessary comminuted, extracted with water and ethanol and filtrated. The filtrate is concentrated by distillation.The concentrated extract is prepared in a mixture of water, butylene glycol and preservatives and clear filtrated after an individual ripening time. 1 kg Extrapone® Lotus Flower contains the hydrophilic ingredients of approx. 280 g dried, resp. approx. 2100 g fresh lotus flowers. Dried plant material - Extrapone® Lotus Flower - ratio: 0.28 : 1. Fresh plant material - Extrapone® Lotus Flower - ratio: 2.10 : 1
