Use: Actipone® Licorice contains an extract of licorice roots prepared in butylene glycol and water. Licorice (Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch.) used for our Actipone® is mainly cultivated in China. The licorice roots are collected, cleaned, dried and if necessary comminuted, aqueously extracted (maceration/percolation) and filtrated. The filtrate is concentrated by distillation and carefully spray-dried. The powder concentrate is prepared in a mixture of water, butylene glycol and preservatives and clear filtrated after an individual ripening time. 1 kg Actipone® Licorice contains the water-soluble ingredients of approx. 0.3 kg dried licorice roots. Dried plant material - extract - ratio: approx. 0.3 : 1 Actipone® Licorice shows skin firming properties (in-vitro).
