Orange flowers used for our Actipone® are mainly cultivated in Iran and Middle East. The flowers are dried, if necessary comminuted, extracted with water and filtrated. The filtrate is concentrated by distillation. The concentrated extract is prepared in a mixture of water, propylene glycol and preservatives and clear filtrated after an individual ripening time. 1 kg Actipone® Orange Flower contains the hydrophilic ingredients of approx. 150 g dried, resp. approx. 1100 g fresh flowers. Dried plant material – Actipone® Orange Flower - ratio: 0.15 : 1.
