Use: Some uses: Sun care and after sun products, hand & body lotions, skin cleansers, hair conditioners, anti-dandruff shampoos, facial moisturizers, shaving & depilatory preparations, bath oils, rubs & liniments, ointments, first aid creams, anti-acne preparations, topical analgesics. Percentage to use: If you are using Aloe Vera Liquid in a product formulation primarily to have it appear on the label, then concerns about the percentage to use (say below 5% SSE) are really immaterial. However, if you want the product to perform better because of the presence of the Aloe Vera, then try using 10% or more. Storage: Store at or slightly below room temperature, away from light. If you want to meet the certification requirements of the International Aloe Science Council, your finished product must contain a minimum of 15% Aloe Vera. This is a natural product which will darken over time. Protect from oxidation by keeping the container tightly capped, store at room temperature or in the refrigerator away from light. Use: CoVera 10X is a cosmetic grade purified and decolorized liquid concentrate from organically grown inner fillet of aloe vera. The aloe is hand filleted and processed within a day of harvest. A refining process removes the color bodies that can cause color and physical instability in cosmetic products, allowing the formulation of clear, colorless products with high levels of aloe vera gel. CoVera 10X is particularly useful when full single strength (or greater) aloe vera gel concentration is desired in the finished product. It is best incorporated after the hydration of any other polymeric materials and after the batch (if hot processed) has been cooled to 45°C or below. Keep CoVera 10X tightly sealed, preferably in a cool (70°F or below) dry place, out of direct sunlight. As a natural product, it should be used as soon as possible and inventories routinely rotated to assure freshness.

Use: CoVera ETD is derived from plantation-grown Aloe barbadensis Miller. This plant, a member of the lily family, is commonly called Aloe Vera or true Aloe. CoVera ETD represents a 199-fold concentration of the gel (the natural juice obtained from the parenchyma of hand-filleted fresh leaves). Allowing for variations owing to climatic and seasonal growing conditions, the natural juice has been found by various researchers to contain assorted sugars, mucopolysaccharides, amino acids, minerals, sterols, sapogenins, enzymes, fatty acids, and hydroquinone-based compounds. This coarse powder form of CoVera is designed for use in manufacture of various personal care, health and pharmaceutical products where dusting or clumping of the fine powder form (CoVera Dry) or the high moisture level and ionic strength of the single strength (1:1) liquid form (CoVera) during manufacture present formulation problems. CoVera ETD can be readily solubilized by adding the product at a 1:199 ratio by weight to well-agitated water. Because the product is irradiated to ensure microbiological integrity during storage and contains no preservative, reconstituted solutions should be used promptly or protected with a suitable preservative system. Keep CoVera ETD tightly sealed and store in a cool, dry place (preferably 70°F or below). CoVera ETD is an unpreserved natural product and should be handled accordingly. Stock should be used promptly (and inventories rotated) to assure freshness.

Sufficient amounts of food grade acidulant and preservatives have been included to help stabilize CoVera's natural state and color. The natural, unpreserved juice from filleted aloe vera leaves generally consists of 99.5% water and 0.5% total solids. Allowing for variations owing to climatic and seasonal growing conditions, the solids have been found by various researchers to contain assorted sugars, mucopolysaccharides, amino acids, minerals, sterols, sapogenins, enzymes, fatty acids, and natural hydroquinone-based compounds.
