Mandarin oil, Green, Italy
Odor: characteristic
Use: Mandarin fruit peels are used to make three different Mandarin oils, Yellow, Red, and Green. The oil produced depends on the ripeness of the fruit. Green is pressed while the fruit is still young and green, Red is pressed when the fruit has completely ripened, and Yellow is pressed when the fruit is in the middle of the ripening stages. Green Mandarin oil's sweet, zesty, citrus aroma adds an interesting fresh, vibrant, fruity green citrus note in any natural perfume. However, Green Mandarin oil is also a great choice for lotions and other skincare products.

Green is pressed while the fruit is still young and green, Red is pressed when the fruit has completely ripened, and Yellow is pressed when the fruit is in the middle of the ripening stages. Red Mandarin oil's aroma is very sweet and faintly floral, much like orange blossoms. In perfumery, Red Mandarin oil provides a sweet, fresh, fruity note to any blend. It blends great Myrrh.

The fruity, sweet, floral aroma of Yellow Mandarin oil adds a unique combination of zesty floral-citrus high notes any blend, but particularly to Nerolis, Bergamots, and Sandalwoods. Because of this, Yellow Mandarin oil is a top pick for our natural perfumers.
